Brendan brings over 25 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, with a strong focus on digital innovation, governance, and community engagement. His professional expertise is complemented by a deep personal involvement in sport, both as a water polo parent and as a Board member with Illawarra Rugby Union.

He is passionate about creating accessible, high-quality development pathways for athletes at all levels and leveraging technology to enhance the delivery of coaching, training, and administrative systems across the sport. Brendan also brings valuable experience in marketing and communication, with a focus on growing participation and strengthening the sport’s presence within the wider community.

He has overseen junior sports programs involving more than 400 athletes and staff, giving him hands-on insight into the operational and strategic needs of sporting organisations.
