NSW Country Team Announced
Water Polo NSW is proud to announce the official selection of our NSW Country, who will represent New South Wales at the upcoming 2026 Australian Country Championships in Ballarat from 6-9 May.
The Australian Country Championships is the premier stage for Australia’s most talented regional water polo athletes - a high-performance competition that pits the best against the best from each State and Territory.
These athletes have earned their spots through dedication, resilience, and elite-level skill. Their selection is a testament to their hard work, commitment to excellence, and the strength of the Regional NSW water polo pathway.
With the 2026 Australian Country Championships set to ignite in one of Victoria’s premier sporting facilities expectations are high for the NSW squads, the Men’s team won the gold medal last year, and the Women’s team won the silver. These teams are ready to showcase the Blue and White with pride as they chase national titles on the biggest age group stage in the country.
