Super League Week Three Round-Up

Our inter-state and international teams made their debut during week three of Water Polo NSW’s Super League 2025-26.Wins for Sydney Uni and UTS Balmain see them top the women’s ladder, and UNSWWests Magpies, Cronulla and Drummoyne all remainon a 100% win ratio in the men’s. 

Women 

UQ9 – 20Drummoyne 

Drummoyne continued their winning ways with a win over University of Queensland at the Drummoyne Swimming Centre on Saturday afternoon.  

Stela LovrinovicKaicwas Drummyone’s top scorer with an impressive five goals. Lilli Harris, Indigo DitterickandMorgan de Jerseyall scored a hattrick, as well as Hungarian JuniorDorottya Telek, to help put her as joint top scorer in the league so far. 

Bless Daly, who is joint top scorer with Dorottya, both on 16 goals so far this season, scored two for Uni of Queensland. 

New Zealand 7 – 15 Vikings WPC

Vikings won their first game of the 2025–26 seasongoing against New Zealand. 

It was a convincing win for Vikings, with eleven of their players getting on the score sheet, including Anni Espar Llaquet, who has scored a total of 10 goals in the Vikings opening three games. 

Abbey Keyte, who was part of New Zealand’s 2024 World Championships team, and Mia Kelliher both scored a brace for New Zealand. 

Sydney University 23 – 13 Vikings WPC 

Sydney Uni have continued their winning ways, taking them to the top of the ladder. 

Anneliese Pampand Anni Espar Llaquet both scored an impressive five goals during the game, Pamp for Sydney Uni and Anni Espar Llaquetfor Vikings. 

Vikings have a few weeks off now, so we look forward to seeing them again in action at the end of November. 

Men 

Singapore 14 – 29 Cronulla 

Singapore debuted in the Super League with a game against Cronulla, who continued their winning streak. 

Cayden Dejun Loh, Adrian VallecchiaandJoshua Ongall scored four goals for Singapore, with Koby Gilchrist, Harrison Teague and Tyler Paduascoring the same forCronulla. 

Daniel Kerrscored a hattrick for Cronulla, putting him as the joint top scorer in the league so far, scoring nine goals.  

Singapore16 – 14Canberra Krakens 

Singapore took their first win of the season in a close game withCanberra Krakens. 

Sanjiv Rajandrais currently jointed top scorer for Singapore, having scored nine goals. 

UNSW Wests 31 – 6 Canberra Krakens 

UNSW Westsput on a dominant win over Canberra Krakens at Ashfield Aquatic Centre on Sunday afternoon. 

Jarrod Gilchristwas top scorer for the Killer Whales scoring an impressive seven goals andNicolas Constantin-Bicariscoredsix goals, showing why they are reigning champions. 

Hamish Ellisonscored a hattrick for Canberra, who will be looking for their first win in their next match on 8 November against Uni of Queensland.
