Water Polo NSW (WPNSW) has today made the difficult decision to postpone our Sydney Super League Finals.

This decision has been made due to the number of players directly affected by Covid-19, either having tested positive or being a close contact of someone who has. Our priorities are the integrity of the competition and the health and wellbeing of our community.

We are working on a proposal for rescheduling and look forward to working with you to make a decision on how and when we will hold the SSL Finals in the new year.

We have seen some tremendous games throughout the SSL 2.0 competition and look forward to seeing the best athletes battle it out for the title when it’s safe to do so.

WPNSW would like to thank our competition partners Cluch, Purnell Trophies for their support throughout the season. We’d also like to thank Kap7 Australia as our official equipment supplier.

Also, huge thanks to all club administrators, officials, and athletes for all of their hard work and dedication to the Sydney Super League.

We wish our community a happy and healthy Christmas and look forward to seeing you back on pool deck in the new year.
