In recent years Water Polo NSW has established 4 U12’s Festivals across regional NSW. The Tourney Shield in the Southern Highlands, The Narwhal Cup on the Central Coast, The Banana Bowl in Coffs Harbour and the parents favourite (we’re not sure why..👀🍇), The Big Orange!

Water Polo NSW Junior State Championships 2023

The NSW Junior State Championships, from 12th to 19th April at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is set to be a thrilling showcase of the best young water polo talent from across New South Wales.

The Purnell's Big Orange U12's Festival

The Purnell’s Big Orange U12's Festival took place in Orange this weekend at Orange Aquatic Centre, for the fifth consecutive year. It was a participation focussed tournament designed to wet the appetites of our youngest members. The festival was open to all WPNSW affiliated players, clubs, and associations.

U12's Narwhal Cup 2023

This weekend saw the WPNSW U12’s Narwhal Cup take place for the second year on the Central Coast. 17 teams came together for a great weekend focussed on fun and development. The teams were divided into 3 divisions and all teams played 6 games across the two days. This really is the best way to develop as players and as a team, we love to see how much the teams develop and learn through the tournament, all of course while having a lot of fun!

Junior Country Clubs Championships 2023

The 2023 Water Polo NSW Junior Country Clubs Championships took place last weekend in Alstonville, Ballina, and Lismore, hosted by the Far North Coast Water Polo Association. The tournament saw 26 teams from across NSW compete across three different pools, showcasing some of the best young regional talent in the sport.

Open Country Clubs Championships 2023

This past weekend saw 29 regional teams come together for the NSW Open Country Clubs Championships 2023, always a highlight of the WPNSW events calendar! The event this year hosted by Ovens and Murray Water Polo Association, games were held at both Albury Swim Centre and Wodonga WAVES.
