12's Banana Bowl

The U12 Festival is a participation tournament designed to wet the appetities of our youngest members. The festival is open to all WPNSW affiliated Players/Clubs/Associations who wish to enter teams. The festival's focus is development in a fun and friendly environment. It is the perfect opportunity to start developing young Coaches and Referees as well as players.

Divisions:

  • Boys - Girls - Mixed

Metro - Born 2012 and younger

Regional - Born 2011 and younger (maximum of x 5 Born 2011 players per team of 10)

Fee: 

  • $770 per team (including GST)
  • Interstate team entry = $1020 per team (including GST)

Timeline:

  • Registrations are - Open
  • Registration Close - 10th November at 11:00pm

Referees:

  • Each team is required to nominate a competent Referee for the game following theirs...
  • If you are a Referee and would like mentoring or have done your pre-requisites and are ready for assessment at this event, please let us know - referees@waterpolonsw.org.au
  • All referee modules and courses are available to all members for free by using your club / revSPORT logins to access the Water Polo Australia Learning Centre.
  • This is a great event to build experience and confidence refereeing.

  • Failure to comply will result in a fine of $100 being applied per incident

Officials:

Each team is required to provide a competent Table Official for their game.

  • Home Team - responsible for managing the clock
  • Away Team - responsible for writing the scorecard
  • There is a Table Officials course on the Water Polo Australia Learning Pool accessible via your Club / revSPORT log ins. This course takes you through the polo basics and writing scorecards. It’s a great intro to polo players who are new to the sport.
  • Failure to comply will result in a fine of $100 being applied per incident
